Job summary

Quantix SCS LLC is seeking an Equipment Manager to oversee lifecycle, utilization, and condition of fleet assets across locations. You will track inventories, enforce regulatory compliance, and support operations, maintenance, and dispatch teams to ensure readiness.

Responsibilities include coordinating acquisitions and replacements, maintaining records, and delivering分析 on utilization trends to drive efficiency and cost control. CDL preferred but not required; travel to terminals may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in equipment or asset management within transportation or logistics.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, FMCSA compliance, and fleet maintenance best practices.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills; attention to detail is critical.
• Experience with equipment tracking systems and maintenance software (e.g., TMT, Samsara).
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, safety, and maintenance teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and asset reporting platforms; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory, availability, and condition of tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment.
• Track asset assignments, location transfers, VINs, registrations, and titles.
• Coordinate with dispatch and terminals to ensure equipment readiness and uptime.
• Collaborate with procurement for acquisitions, decommissions, and replacements.
• Partner with maintenance teams for inspections, repairs, and downtime tracking.
• Maintain audit-ready records for inspections, PMs, repairs, and certifications.
• Monitor utilization, aging, idle equipment, and service cycles for reporting.
• Act as the central point of contact for equipment issues and escalations.
