Job summary

Ohio CAT Rental Store, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., is seeking a Rental Asset Coordinator to oversee maintenance, repair, and readiness of the Cat Rental Store and Heavy Rents fleets. This role functions as a liaison between Rental and Product Support teams to ensure timely service and optimal fleet availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Caterpillar equipment-related experience and/or rental industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of rental operations, service operations, and business systems required.
• Understanding of equipment lifecycle management, preventative maintenance, and fleet utilization concepts.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to build positive working relationships across departments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Rental, Service, Parts, and Sales to achieve fleet performance objectives.
• Basic understanding of Caterpillar and Allied warranty processes and procedures preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to analyze equipment maintenance and repair data to support fleet management decisions.
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate maintenance and repair activities for equipment in Rental Store and Heavy Rents fleets.
• Communicate fleet needs to Rental, Service, Parts and Sales teams to improve availability.
• Monitor asset readiness and minimize downtime to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Assist in tracking lifecycle costs and optimizing maintenance spending.
• Support Fleet profitability through efficient rollout and disposition activities.
