Job summary

Verizon Communications is seeking an experienced Fleet Administrative Support Manager to lead a large, centralized fleet operation across multiple jurisdictions. The role covers vehicle registrations, titling, fuel-card administration, tolls, and customer support, with strong focus on cost control and vendor oversight.

You will supervise represented employees, drive KPI performance, and ensure compliance within union agreements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four+ years of relevant work experience in fleet operations, shared services, centralized administration, or logistics.
Experience supervising employees or leading business processes.
Proficiency with operational systems, data analysis, and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
Ability to work onsite to support staff, records, and secured fleet functions.

Responsibilities

Direct, develop, and lead represented associates under collective bargaining agreements and company policies.
Oversee high-volume vehicle registration, renewal, titling, licensing, fuel-card administration, tolls, and customer support across jurisdictions.
Manage departmental spend, forecasts, invoice reconciliation, financial controls, and vendor SLAs for cost reduction.
Monitor SLAs, KPIs, transaction aging, productivity, and staffing coverage using SAP, Cisco Finesse, and Verint tools.
Identify operational backlogs and root causes to implement lasting process improvements.
Maintain SOPs, compliance controls, risk management, and audit-ready documentation.
