Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Fleet Administrative Support Manager to lead the National Fleet Service Center, overseeing a high-volume, centralized fleet operation. You will manage a represented workforce, supervise vehicle registrations, titling, and fuel-card administration while driving cost control and contract compliance.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Labor Relations: Direct, develop, and lead represented associates operating within collective bargaining agreements, company policies and performance expectations.
• Core Administrative & Fleet Operations: Oversee high-volume vehicle registration, renewal, titling, licensing, fuel-card administration (WEX), tolls, and customer support services across multiple jurisdictions.
• Financial Management & Vendor Oversight: Manage departmental spend, forecasts, invoice reconciliation, financial controls, and vendor SLAs to ensure contract compliance, billing accuracy, and cost reduction.
• Operational Performance & KPI Management: Monitor SLAs, KPIs, transaction aging, productivity, and staffing coverage using systems like SAP, Cisco Finesse, and Verint workforce management.
• Process Improvement & Root-Cause Analysis: Identify operational backlogs and systemic issues, distinguishing between process, technology, training, and capacity bottlenecks to implement lasting solutions.
• Governance & Audit Readiness: Maintain standard operating procedures, continuous compliance controls, risk management, and audit-ready documentation.

What you'll be doing...

As a Fleet Administrative Support Manager supporting the National Fleet Service Center (NFSC), you will lead a complex, high-volume centralized fleet operation supporting a large, geographically dispersed vehicle portfolio. You will manage represented employees responsible for critical fleet functions, including vehicle registrations, titling, fuel-card administration, tolls, invoice reconciliation, and customer support. In this role, you will balance employee performance, vendor management, compliance, and cost control to drive operational excellence across organizational boundaries.

What we're looking for...

You are an accountable leader who takes complete ownership of results and drives cross-functional issues through to final resolution. You understand both operational and financial metrics, and you use data to diagnose root causes rather than symptoms. You thrive in structured, fast-paced environments, leading unionized workforce teams, collaborating across organizational boundaries, and guiding employees through operational and systems changes.

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience in fleet operations, shared services, centralized administration, or logistics.
• Experience supervising employees, managing operational workflows, or leading business processes.
• Proficiency with operational systems, data analysis, and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work onsite as required to support staff, records, and secured fleet functions.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience supervising represented/union employees and working within a collective bargaining agreement.
• Background in vehicle titling, licensing, registration, or DMV processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• High-volume invoice processing, financial controls, and vendor management experience (e.g., WEX fuel programs).
• Experience using SAP, Cisco Finesse, Verint, or equivalent fleet and workforce management platforms in addition to MS Office and or Google Suite.
• Experience in root-cause analysis, process automation, workflow optimization, or change management.
• Industry certifications such as CAFM, Project Management (PMP), or Lean/Continuous Improvement.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $83,500 - $146,000.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
