Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a team-oriented cook to prepare quality food that tastes great and remains consistent. You will follow Wingstop standards for safe cooking, timely order fulfillment, and clean, organized stations.

We value guests, personal hygiene, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. Prior kitchen or line cook experience is preferred, and a food handler certification is required to contribute to our flavor-focused mission.

• Professional cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Line cook: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food Handler Certification required

Responsibilities

• Ensure that each guest has a positive, long lasting impression of the Wingstop experience
• Ability to practice safe cooking procedures
• Quickly scan and comprehend the order tickets
• Accurately count wings and fries portions for each order
• Coordinate cooking times and timers for wings and fries
• Season and package all orders per Wingstop standards
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety throughout the shift
• Notify Manager on Duty of safety, sanitation, or employee issues
• Assist other employees as needed
• Follow directions given by Manager or Supervisor
• Understand and follow proper hygiene and food handling practices
