Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to prepare high-quality Wingstop meals with consistent taste and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, following Wingstop standards for safety, hygiene, and efficiency.

This role emphasizes guest satisfaction and timely service in a team environment. Experience in cooking and line cook roles is preferred, with certification in Food Handler requirements.

Qualifications

• Professional cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Line cook: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food Handler Certification required

Responsibilities

• Ensure that each guest has a positive, long lasting impression of the Wingstop experience
• Ability to practice safe cooking procedures
• Quickly scan and comprehend the order tickets
• Count wings and fries accurately for each order
• Coordinate cooking times and timers with orders
• Sauce, season and package all orders per Wingstop standards
• Maintain fryer cleanliness and proper safety procedures
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout the shift
• Notify Manager on Duty of safety or sanitation issues
• Support other team members as needed
• Follow directions from Manager or Supervisor
• Understand and follow hygiene and food handling practices
• Follow safe use of chemical cleaning products
