Job summary

BRYAN TRUCK LINE is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver for flatbed work in a regional role in the United States. You will transport brass & copper rod on flatbed trailers with tarps and side kits, earning a percentage of the load.

Focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service as the face of the company during deliveries. The role requires a Class A CDL with at least 1 year of experience and entails loading/unloading cargo, daily logs, and strict regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck and pull flatbed trailers, with side-kits and tarps.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods, strapping and securement.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatcher regarding any issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any mechanical issues.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting brass & copper rod on a flatbed trailer, with tarps and side kits and scrap back. This position pays a percentage of the load. • Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not mandatory.
