BRYAN TRUCK LINE in Ohio is seeking a dedicated CDL Class A truck driver to join our flatbed team. You will transport brass and copper rod on flatbed trailers, with tarps and side kits, and share in a load-based pay structure.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of CDL A experience, be safety-focused, and capable of clear communication with the dispatcher to meet schedules. Regional routes with weekdays work and occasional weekend duties.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Ability to load/unload and secure cargo, including tarps and side kits.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Good record-keeping and ability to communicate with dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck and flatbed trailers with tarps and side kits.
• Perform pre-trip inspections for safety and compliance.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team flatbed team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting brass & copper rod on a flatbed trailer, with tarps and side kits and scrap back. This position pays a percentage of the load. A strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck and pull flatbed trailers, with side-kits and tarps.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods, strapping and securement.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatcher regarding any issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any mechanical issues.

Skills

• Proficient in operating commercial vehicles with manual transmission.
• Experience in route driving with a strong understanding of navigation systems.
• Ability to assist in loading and unloading cargo, assure proper load securement and breakdown of side kits, and handle tarping.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to transportation and delivery services.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining delivery records.

• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not mandatory.
