Job summary

South Texas College in McAllen, TX is seeking a Fixed Assets and Inventory Specialist within Central Receiving. You will maintain campus fixed assets and inventory records, track and verify data, and assist faculty and staff with moves, asset disposal, and general Fixed Assets matters.

Responsibilities include supporting the Receiving and Distribution Manager, processing confidential information, updating the ERP system, coordinating auctions or recycling, and helping with annual inventory

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree.
• Two (2) years related experience preferred.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fixed assets and inventory records and verifies data.
• Provides administrative support to the Receiving and Distribution Manager.
• Tracks assets, inventory, and donations for auction or disposal and prepares items for disposition.
• Updates the ERP system and prepares asset reports for management.
