Job summary

Austin Community College (ACC) is seeking an Associate, Materials Management & Logistics to support inventory disposition and warehouse duties across ACC locations. The role involves asset tagging, stock updates, and ensuring accurate records in the Fixed Asset system.

The candidate will assist with auctions, deliveries, and reconciliation of procurement documents. A high school diploma and at least two years of related experience are required, plus a Texas driver’s license; forklift

Qualifications

• Two years related work experience.
• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and good driving record.
• Forklift Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Examines incoming surplus items and recommends disposition (scrapped, sold, etc.).
• Maintains accurate computer records for processed items and tracks fixed asset movement.
• Conducts physical warehouse inventory, tags assets, and updates stock records.
• Delivers/picks up equipment across ACC campus locations and loads/unloads trucks.
• Assists with wiping data from computers and preparing items for auction or destruction.
• Supports ACC auctions with information management and post‑sale follow‑ups.
• Provides backup to warehouse sections, including receiving, shipments, and processing purchase orders.
