Job summary

Austin Community College is seeking an Associate in Materials Management & Logistics to support inventory disposition and warehouse activities across ACC campuses. You will assist with asset tagging, inventory counts, and records maintenance, ensuring accurate data in the college tracking systems.

This role requires two years of related work experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with a Texas driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two years related work experience.
• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and good driving record.
• Forklift certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Examines all incoming surplus items and recommends the disposition of those items.
• Separates assets by disposition and maintains accurate computer records for all processed items.
• Tracks fixed asset movement and updates the Datatel system.
• Performs warehouse inventory activities and tags assets.
• Delivers and picks up equipment at campus locations and loads/unloads trucks.
• Assists with public auctions and related follow-up on deliveries and payments.
• Provides backup support to warehouse sections and processes purchase orders.
