You will enter asset data, tag assets, maintain perpetual records, assist with audits, and prepare reports. The position reports to the Operations Coordinator and requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of inventory-related experience.
Provides clerical support in acquiring, tracking, controlling and disposing of the District's fixed assets in a manner that safeguards and allows for sound management of the public's asset investment. Assists in administering the district's inventory system by receiving and issuing property items, assigning property numbers, maintaining associated property records in the district's fixed asset management system, participating in scheduled inventories and disposing of obsolete items.

KNOWLEDGE: Requires a high school diploma or a GED.
EXPERIENCE: One year of inventory control, materials management, record keeping or clerical experience is required.
COMPLEXITY: Work consists of fairly standard procedures and tasks where basic analytic ability is required, as in the comparison of numbers and simple facts in selecting the correct action.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Report to Operations Coordinator.
