Job summary

South Texas College seeks a detail‑oriented Inventory and Fixed Assets Specialist to maintain the College's fixed assets and inventory records. You will support moves, transfers, asset disposal status, and updates in the ERP system, collaborating with faculty and staff to ensure accurate asset data and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least two years of related experience, excellent data entry and communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy college

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two (2) years related experience preferred.
• Good data entry skills with close attention to details and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the College's fixed assets and inventory records.
• Tracks and verifies records; assists with moves/transfers and asset disposal status.
• Prepares assets for auction or recycle/disposal and updates ERP system.
• Creates inventory reports for financial managers and audits departments.
• Assists with the Receiving, Mail Services and Copy Center as needed.
• Notifies manager of vehicle maintenance and assists with fueling.
