Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Residential Concierge / Resident Relations Specialist in Los Angeles to deliver Five-Star service, interact with residents, and support management with daily operations at the property. The role emphasizes hospitality mindset, responsiveness, and strong communication to enhance the resident experience.

The position focuses on executing a full-service hospitality platform under GM direction, while maintaining professional attire and effective problem solving.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• Second language helpful (Spanish, French, Mandarin, Japanese, Farsi, Persian).
• Strong general math skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and clarify residents' expressed and unexpressed needs, and provide professional directions.
• Answer the telephone within two rings with proper salutations and identification.
• Record, relay and log messages accurately and clearly.
• Document pertinent information in resident logs during shifts.
• Handle package distribution and log in Connect upon receipt and pickup.
• Monitor property access points and report suspicious activity to ensure safety.
• Adhere to service standards and company policies.
• Address Residency requests within 24 hours of the initial call.
• Follow up with assignee and resident to ensure completion of tasks.
• Attend designated meetings as required by GM or Board.
• Maintain emergency contact lists and participate in emergency response.
• Issue and manage property access cards and update tracking software.
• Inform vendors of building rules and regulations.
• Assist with move-in orientation for new residents.
• Verify visitors and registrations with homeowner authorization.
• Maintain parking and storage logs and keep facilities tidy.
