Job summary

Planet Fitness is hiring a Shift Lead to supervise teammates, monitor performance, and ensure safety and policy compliance during shifts in our Judgement Free Zone environment.

You will organize schedules, assign duties, train staff, handle customer issues, uphold PCI policy, and help keep the club clean, energetic, and welcoming for members. This role reports to the General Manager and requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a busy fitness setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Organizing shift schedules for team members.
• Monitoring attendance, tardiness, and time off.
• Assigning duties to staff based on role and skills.
• Supervising employees and providing feedback to management.
• Training new and current team members on tasks.
• Handling customer issues and managing conflicts.
• Upholding health and safety policies and club standards.
• Maintaining club cleanliness and secure handling of member documents.
• Executing transactions and driving sales in line with PCI policy.
