Job summary

Synergy Flavors, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 1st shift at our Chicago site. You will lead a production team, plan material flow, and coordinate with maintenance, planning, and QA to meet customer deadlines.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in a related field and 3 years of production experience, with strong LEAN manufacturing knowledge and excellent communication skills for daily reporting and safety adherence.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred and 3 years production experience.
LEAN manufacturing experience required.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach the manufacturing team to meet customer orders and performance metrics.
Plan the flow of materials, assign labor, and create schedules to meet internal/external needs.
Maintain production records and ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met.
Collaborate with maintenance, planning, quality control, accounting and R&D.
