Job summary

Synergy Flavors, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift at the 37th Street Chicago site. You will lead a production team, plan materials, and coordinate with maintenance, planning, quality, and R&D to meet customer orders on time.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, ensuring safety and quality, documenting procedures and implementing LEAN improvements across the plant. A strong background in LEAN and production management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Production Management or related field.
• 3+ years of production experience in a production environment, preferably food manufacturing.
• LEAN manufacturing principles experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level leadership, coaching and direction to the production team.
• Plan material flow and schedule labor to meet orders.
• Maintain safety, quality and cost objectives while improving processes using LEAN methods.
• Interface with maintenance, planning, quality, and R&D for improvements and capital projects.
• Ensure daily production records, downtime reports and SOP adoption.
