Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a hands-on assembler at our onsite Wilson, NC facility. You will learn to set up, assemble, and load parts, read procedures and schematics, and work to meet customer deadlines while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will rotate through stations, participate in inspections, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Typical first shift hours are 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED (US) or equivalent vocational/technical education.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, assemble, and load parts.
• Read and follow procedures, routing, and work instructions.
• Identify part defects and escalate as needed to maintain quality.
• Build parts that meet customer deadlines while upholding safety/quality standards.
• Comply with quality systems and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain workspace and rotate through workstations as needed.
