Job summary

RTX's Collins Aerospace unit in Wilson, NC is hiring for an on-site assembler on the 3rd shift. Under direct supervision you will perform routine assembly operations, use hand tools and semi-automatic equipment, read procedures, and maintain safety and quality standards.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED and at least one year in manufacturing; CRC preferred. Training, overtime, and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) in US with at least 1 year of related experience.
• Must have one year of experience in manufacturing.
• Career Readiness Certification (CRC) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, assemble, and load parts.
• Demonstrate proper use of hand and machine tools with basic troubleshooting.
• Read and follow procedures, routing, and work instructions.
• Ensure quality workmanship and identify defects.
• Build parts meeting customer deadlines while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and participate in daily/weekly/monthly cleaning activities.
• Rotate to different workstations as needed.
• Report progress to lead or supervisor and escalate issues.
• Stand for 8+ hours and be available for overtime.
