Job summary

RTX is seeking an Assembly Operator for the Wilson, NC site. This 1st shift role involves setting up, assembling, and loading parts, and using hand and machine tools while following procedures and work instructions.

You will ensure quality product standards, identify defects, and participate in audits, training, and continuous improvement activities. The position is onsite with overtime and potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• One year of experience in manufacturing.
• Career Readiness Certification (CRC) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, assemble, and load parts.
• Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools with basic troubleshooting around machine setup and function.
• Read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions.
• Maintain high quality workmanship and meet customer deadlines.
• Identify part defects and escalate as needed.
• Rotate to different workstations and participate in training and safety programs.
