Job summary

RTX Avionics is seeking a manufacturing associate for 1st shift in Wilson, NC. You will learn to assemble and load parts, use hand and machine tools, and follow detailed work instructions to produce quality components.

Responsibilities include reading procedures, meeting deadlines, maintaining safety practices, and participating in continuous improvement efforts. Overtime and extended days may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• CRC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, assemble, and load parts.
• Use hand and machine tools with basic troubleshooting.
• Read and follow procedures, routings, and work instructions.
• Meet quality standards with no defects.
• Identify defects and address escapes.
• Ensure parts meet customer deadlines and safety/quality standards.
• Follow applicable quality systems and training requirements.
• Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement activities.
• Complete tasks within scope to develop skills.
• Report progress and any quality issues to supervisor.
