Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor (1st Shift) for the Olathe, KS facility. You will lead a manufacturing team, hire and train staff, and drive continuous improvement to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The role emphasizes safety, process discipline, and strong leadership in a dynamic production environment. The position requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing and familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience attracting, retaining, motivating, and developing high performing diverse teams.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and guidance to manufacturing team, ensuring productivity and a positive working environment.
Recruit, train, and evaluate employees; partner with HR on onboarding and safety.
Ensure on-time delivery, quality control, inventory management, and adherence to SOPs.
Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines and conducting inspections.
