Job summary

SPX Technologies in Olathe, KS is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor (1st shift) to lead a production team and oversee daily operations. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while managing inventory and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires hiring, training, and coaching hourly staff, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and using ERP systems to report performance and plan production. Strong communication and HVAC knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the manufacturing team to ensure productivity and collaboration.
• Recruit, train, and develop employees; conduct coaching and performance evaluations.
• Prioritize safety, enforce guidelines, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Coordinate production scheduling with planning and logistics to meet on-time delivery.
• Monitor quality controls and improve processes with ERP reporting and KPI tracking.
• Manage inventory accuracy and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
