Job summary

SPX Technologies in Olathe, KS is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for Metal Fabrication on the 2nd shift to lead a production team, drive safety, and ensure quality across daily operations.

You will hire, train, and develop hourly staff, implement lean initiatives, manage schedules, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining a clean, safe, organized facility in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in attracting, retaining, motivating, and developing high performing teams is preferred.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and safety regulations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the manufacturing team to ensure productivity and a positive working environment.
• Recruit, train, and develop employees; conduct performance reviews and corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with production planning and logistics to meet on-time delivery and quality goals.
• Implement safety guidelines, conduct inspections, and maintain a clean, safe facility.
• Use ERP and reporting tools to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
