H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor for a Battleboro, NC bakery operation.

This hands-on supervisory role leads a team of 15–25 production staff across first, second, and third shifts, delivering safe, high-quality products while meeting production goals. Responsibilities include leading daily production activities, coaching staff, maintaining food safety and GMPs, monitoring performance, and coordinating with maintenance and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen foods is relevant.
• Ability to lead employees, manage performance, and drive accountability.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
