Job summary

West Henderson Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, seeks a Surgical Technologist/First Assistant to support operative teams in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions under RN supervision to ensure safe operations and optimal patient outcomes.

Required credentials include CSFA/CSA/SA-C or equivalent, and current BLS; prior perioperative experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CSFA/CSA/SA-C certification required and must be maintained
• Current American Heart Association (BLS) certification required
• Experience in perioperative setting and assisting surgeons (First Assistant/Technologist role) desirable

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with exposure and hemostasis during procedures
• Attend to patients' direct care needs under RN supervision
• Maintain safety, privacy, and dignity of patients on the unit
