Job summary

The Valley Health System's West Henderson Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist surgeons, ensure proper exposure and hemostasis, and support patient care under RN supervision. The role requires adherence to safety, privacy, and hospital policies while maintaining high quality perioperative care.

Candidates should have a technical Surgical Technology background, with Bachelor’s degree preferred and SFA/CSA/SA-C certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Technical School or Associate Degree in Surgical Technology or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• SFA, CSA, SA-C certifications eligible or required

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with exposure and hemostasis during operations.
• Attend to patients' direct care needs under RN supervision.
• Maintain privacy, dignity, and safety of patients according to policies.
• Demonstrate dexterity for perioperative duties and procedures.
