Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV seeks a skilled Surgical Technician to assist surgeons during operations and support patient care under RN supervision. You will help with exposure, hemostasis, and maintaining a safe, efficient operating room environment.

The role requires a Surgical Technology credential, BLS, and current CSFA/CSA/SA-C certification. A technical degree and several years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Technical School/2 Years College / Associate’s Degree: Surgical Technology, or program board eligible for SFA certification required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• CSFA/CSA/SA-C certification required; BLS certification required; Certification must be maintained for employment.

Aufgaben

• Assist surgeons with exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions.
• Attend to patients’ direct care needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Maintain dignity, privacy, and safety of the patient; follow hospital policies and safety guidelines.
