Job summary

West Henderson Hospital within The Valley Health System seeks a skilled Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons during operations, providing exposure, hemostasis and other technical support for optimal patient outcomes.

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will address patients' direct care needs, maintain privacy and safety, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and state law. This is a full-time, varied-shift position.

Qualifications

• Three to five (3-5) years surgical tech experience required.
• Five to eight (5-8) years surgical tech experience preferred.
• Current CSFA Certification (through NBSTSA), CSA (through NSAA), or SA-C certification (through ABSA) required.
• Current American Heart Association (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with exposure and hemostasis during procedures.
• Attend to patients' direct care needs under RN supervision.
• Maintain integrity with respect to policies, privacy, and safety.
