Bass Pro Outdoor World is seeking a Team Leader for the firearms department to direct daily activities of associates, oversee merchandising, inventory, pricing, and customer service under the supervision of the Group Sales or Department Manager. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with ATF/state/local laws, and achieving department targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: 2 to 4 Years in Retail Sales
• Supervisor experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of associates in the department
• Lead firearm sales and ensure compliance with ATF, state and local laws
• Achieve Departmental Sales, Gross Margin, Inventory Shrinkage and Payroll Goals
• Staff department with service-oriented associates; assist in interviews and training
• Maintain merchandising directives and plan-o-grams as set by Corporate Office
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
• Remain product expert and coordinate department events and pricing integrity
