Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Leader for the firearms department to direct associates in merchandising, inventory, pricing and service. Under supervision of GSM/DM, you’ll ensure compliance with laws and company policies while guiding staff to deliver a premier shopping experience.

The role includes training, scheduling, and coaching, with emphasis on safety, product knowledge, and achieving sales goals in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of retail sales experience.
• Supervisor experience a plus.
• Strong customer service and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead department associates in merchandising and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with ATF, state and local laws and company policies.
• Help achieve departmental sales, gross margin, inventory shrinkage and payroll goals.
• Staff the department, train, schedule, and coach associates.
• Maintain pricing, plan-o-grams, and UPC integrity; conduct product demos.
