Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Lead to manage the used firearms business within the store, overseeing buying, selling and customer service, initiating 4473s and ensuring accurate compliance checks before transfers.

The role emphasizes fair-trade selling, achieving monthly sales goals, inventory control, audits, and staff training on product knowledge and regulatory procedures; excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Evaluates and appraises used firearms with knowledge of fair market values.
• Initiates 4473 forms and conducts final compliance checks before transfers.
• Maintains inventory and sources potential firearm consignments.
• Ensures compliance with Local, State, and Federal firearms regulations.
• Conducts monthly ATF compliance and internal audits.
• Trains Outfitters on acquiring and disposing of used firearms and related processes.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and appraise used firearms with knowledge of market values and negotiation.
• Initiate 4473 forms with customers and conduct final compliance checks.
• Maintain inventory and source gun collections beyond the store.
• Comply with ATF and other firearms regulations as an FFL dealer.
• Conduct monthly ATF/compliance audits and merchandise planning.
• Train Outfitters on sales trends, policy updates, and negotiation.
