Job summary

Vance Outdoors Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate Lead to support the department manager in day-to-day store operations and sales. You will deliver exceptional customer service, assist with inventory, and promote a positive team culture while ensuring compliance with BATFE regulations.

Responsibilities include coordinating staff schedules, maintaining coverage, opening/closing the store, and handling security concerns. Supervisory duties apply to a team of 15–40 employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Experience with POS and payroll systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer service for internal and external customers.
• Promote a positive culture and ensure staffing coverage.
• Assist with inventory and store promotions.
• Adhere to ATF and NFA compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Open/close store and respond to security issues during business hours.
