Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a motivated Fire Systems Sales Rep in El Paso, TX to grow service agreements and build a strong pipeline of opportunities. You will manage a territory, engage customers, and craft proposals for commercial building systems including fire, security, and related services.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, accurate forecasting, and use of Salesforce. A minimum of 3 years in B2B sales is expected, with NICET knowledge beneficial for local codes and fire job

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in B2B sales or service agreement sales.
• Knowledge of NICET certification requirements or local codes related to fire jobs.
• Ability to sell technical Fire Systems solutions by understanding customer needs.
• Knowledge of commercial building systems including fire-related components.
• Ability to conduct building surveys and support proposal development.
• Strong relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage sales activity, forecasting, and follow-up with accuracy.
• Comfort using Salesforce or a similar CRM to track pipeline and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell planned service agreements for commercial building systems including fire-related subsystems.
• Establish contact with prospects to qualify opportunities and build a sales pipeline.
• Develop trusted relationships through follow-up, communication, and account management.
• Identify customer needs and build a sales strategy aligned with account and service opportunities.
• Conduct building surveys to support estimating, pricing, and proposals.
• Prepare financial justifications, proposals, and presentations to close business.
• Track sales activity, expenses, and competitive information accurately.
• Provide forecasting and keep territory records up to date in Salesforce.
