Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Field Project Manager in the Fire division to lead complex fire alarm, security, and communications installation projects across diverse facilities. You will set up local project offices, define scope, assess risks, allocate resources, and manage schedule, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate design, permits, materials, and field installation; develop plans to meet schedules and budgets; ensure compliance with codes and AHJ/SOX; handle change

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate or diploma in Fire & Life Safety, Electrical/Electronic; Security. Certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred.
• PM certification within two years of employment.
• NICET Level II within one year of employment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Project). Ability to create Excel spreadsheets, reference data in other spreadsheets, and create macros is required.
• Available for frequent local travel.

• Lead complex fire alarm, security, and communications installation projects in multiple facilities.
• Set up local project offices, define scope, identify risks, establish project methodology, allocate resources.
• Manage schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction; present updates to management/customers.
