Job summary

Johnson Controls in Indianapolis seeks a Field Project Manager for the Fire division to lead complex fire alarm, security, and communications installation projects across commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and military facilities. You will setup local project offices, define scope, manage risks, allocate resources, and ensure on-time delivery with safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate multiple design, permit, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate/diploma in Fire & Life Safety, Electrical/Electronic; Security preferred.
• PM certification expected within two years; NICET Level II within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex fire alarm, security, and communications installation projects across multiple facilities.
• Set up local project offices, define scope, identify risks, and allocate resources.
• Manage schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction; present updates to management and customers.
