Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a field service technician to perform on-site diagnostics, repair, inspection and testing of fire sprinkler and suppression systems, and to support O&M field labor for portable extinguishers and kitchen hood systems.
Read blueprints and manuals, manage daily service calls and coordinate with customers. Strong communication, problem-solving, and PC skills are required; FEL-A preferred; valid US driver’s license; on-call rotation; government work
Perform direct field labor work under the guidance of Team Leaders and Managers, delivering service projects. Tasks include specialized diagnostics and repair, inspection and testing of fire sprinkler and suppression systems, intermediate repair and maintenance, safety and compliance, documentation and reporting, and customer communication and coordination. Additionally, provide O&M field labor support, service and repair portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, and suppression gas systems. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software and system programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. Manage daily service calls, customer activities, and program system products while working with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazards.
Hiring hourly range: $32.60 - $44.81 (Hourly rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities).
