Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai in Salem, Virginia, is seeking a skilled technician to perform service and repairs on various fire safety systems including Portable Fire Extinguishers and Kitchen Hood Systems. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a valid US driver's license.

What you will do

• Perform service and repair on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems in addition to other related building system products at customer sites.
• Service, troubleshoot, and install many different manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
• Manage daily service call, customer activity and program system products.

How you will do it

• Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
• Perform inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.

Compensation

Hourly range: $20–$26 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
