Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Life Safety Sprinkler Systems Sales Executive to grow the sprinkler service business with new construction and service contracts. The role focuses on prospecting, negotiating, and closing quality orders for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

The candidate should have 2+ years of sprinkler system sales experience and, ideally, sprinkler design experience with hydraulic calculations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in sprinkler system sales or a similar field.
• Previous sprinkler design experience, including estimating and performing hydraulic calculations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of new construction and service contracts by scheduling sales calls and following up on leads.
• Develop and maintain relationships with major customers and contractors with the objective of negotiating and closing quality orders.
• Willingness to learn and apply proven sales principles and practices.
• Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
