Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sprinkler Service Sales Representative to promote and sell Fire Sprinkler service offerings to customers within the assigned territory and accounts. The role emphasizes building new business, identifying customer needs, and driving sales, with a focus on safety and quality.

The position requires at least two years of sprinkler field or sales experience, technical sprinkler knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of sprinkler field or sales experience required.
• Technical knowledge of sprinkler systems preferred.
• Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task and organize work.
• Proficient with Windows/Office 2007 or later.

Responsibilities

• Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers for system repairs and modifications by scheduling sales calls and following up on leads.
• Identify customer needs for moves, adds and changes to existing sprinkler systems and develop a sales plan.
• Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
• Read blueprints and understand NFPA 13 standards and local codes.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and estimate small projects.
