We are looking for a Fire Service Sales Representative to promote and sell fire sprinkler service offerings within an assigned territory and customer base. In this role, you will build trusted relationships, uncover service opportunities, and develop solutions that support life safety, code compliance, and long-term account growth.
Prospect for new business and qualify opportunities for fire sprinkler service, including repairs, modifications, new construction, and ongoing account work.
Manage the sales process from discovery and estimating through proposal preparation, negotiation, contract close, and post-sale follow-up.
Conduct building surveys and develop estimates for small projects and day-work assignments.
Maintain an active proposal backlog and pursue opportunities that support sales plan objectives.
Build and strengthen relationships with customers, contractors, and end users to support repeat business and account growth.
Partner with service, design, and support teams to address moves, adds, and changes to sprinkler systems and ensure smooth service delivery.
Use blueprint reading, NFPA 13 knowledge, and local code awareness to support accurate and compliant solutions.
Track sales activity, customer needs, and follow-up actions to keep opportunities moving forward.
Own outcomes with accountability by following through on commitments, supporting safe work practices, and maintaining integrity in every customer interaction.
Focus on what matters by listening closely to each customer’s needs, identifying the right service opportunity, and removing obstacles that slow the sale or delivery.
Improve every day by refining estimates, strengthening follow-up, and using feedback to make the sales process simpler and more effective.

Communicate clearly, document thoroughly, and keep forecasting and account information current.

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
Proficiency with personal computers, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Technical knowledge of sprinkler systems, fire sprinkler service work, blueprints, NFPA 13, and local codes.
Four years of experience in the sprinkler industry.
Experience in sprinkler design, estimating, and hydraulic calculations.
NICET Level I certification.
Competitive salary range of $45,000 USD to $67,000 USD, based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data.
