Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced sprinkler service technician to receive service calls, diagnose issues, and perform skilled repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. You will read blueprints, follow manuals, and troubleshoot to restore operation with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires 3-5 years of fire sprinkler experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work on-call, including evenings and weekends,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler service industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work on call rotation, including evenings and weekends to meet customer requirements.
• Overnight travel may be required.
• Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
• Must adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls from Service Resource Center and ascertain equipment problems.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial and residential applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications and manuals.
• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to manuals and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service and ability to learn quickly.
