Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to service and repair sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial settings. You will respond to service calls, diagnose malfunctions, and perform repairs to wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and fire pump systems while ensuring top safety and customer service standards.

The role requires 2+ years in the Fire Sprinkler field, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read blueprints and manuals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
• Maintains licenses required by National, State and Local codes.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company requirements.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Strong reading comprehension of safety manuals, diagrams and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and assess equipment/system problems.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial/industrial applications.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to manuals and change notices.
• Demonstrate high level of customer service and ability to work independently.
