Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, reading blueprints, and delivering strong customer service while adhering to safety guidelines. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of sprinkler service experience, a High School Diploma, and the ability to travel overnight.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of documented experience in fire sprinkler service and repair
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
• Overnight travel may be required
• Maintain truck inventory and respond quickly to customers
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to perform physical labor up to 70 lbs
• Capable of climbs, ladders, scaffolding, and high lift usage
• Follow, read, and understand safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls from Service Resource Center and contact customer representative
• Diagnose equipment problems and perform service/repairs on sprinkler systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and manuals
• Demonstrate strong customer service and organizational skills
• Work independently as needed
