Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to diagnose and repair sprinkler and suppression systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will receive service requests, assess issues, and perform field service with emphasis on safety and reliable execution.

This role requires 1–3 years' documented experience, a High School Diploma, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and willingness to travel overnight.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of documented experience in fire sprinkler service.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and review reported issues.
• Contact customers to confirm issue and gather site information.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
• Work on wet, dry, pre-action and deluge systems and service fire pumps.
• Troubleshoot using manuals, bulletins, and modification notices.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and manuals.
• Deliver high level of customer service and maintain on-site professionalism.
• Maintain truck inventory to support timely responses.
