Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to service and repair sprinkler systems across commercial, industrial, and residential settings, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.

You will read blueprints and submittals, follow manuals and change notices, demonstrate strong customer service, and be able to work alone while meeting safety and travel requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of documented experience in fire sprinkler service and repair.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and travel overnight.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record meeting company standards.
• Capable of physical labor up to 70 lbs and climbing ladders/scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and determine equipment problems.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps).
• Read blueprints, diagrams, submittals and manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Provide high level customer service and work independently.
