Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to service commercial, industrial, and residential sprinkler systems. You will interpret blueprints, read submittals, and follow manuals and change notices to diagnose and repair issues, while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires travel, physical effort, and participation in on-call rotation. The candidate should have at least 3 years in the fire suppression field, a valid driver’s license, and a State Fire

Qualifications

• 3+ years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler/Suppression.
• Ability to read blueprints, submittals and manuals.
• Willingness to travel and perform physical labor up to 50–70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and clarify equipment malfunctions.
• Contact customer rep and identify problems.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge).
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and reference manuals and bulletins to diagnose issues.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, specifications and manuals.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through clear communication.
• Participate in on-call rotation and on-site duties as required.
