Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to create layout drawings for systems across commercial, industrial, and residential settings. The candidate will apply fire protection codes and perform hydraulic calculations while collaborating with project managers, engineers and contractors.

The role requires handling blueprints, coordinating design issues, and ensuring code compliance. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related BIM tools is essential for delivering accurate,

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design.
• Experience with AutoCAD and related CAD software.
• Strong understanding of NFPA and local fire codes.
• NICET certification (Level II or higher) in Water-Based Systems Layout preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and prepare layouts for fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and reports.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and develop master drawings for installation.
• Coordinate with engineers/consultants to ensure code compliance and client requirements.
• Assist with proposal documents and technical data and monitor production aspects on site.
