Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a seasoned Fire Sprinkler Designer to develop sprinkler systems, run hydraulic analyses, and ensure fire protection meets code and client requirements. The role emphasizes CAD expertise, 3D modeling, and close coordination with engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities include designing plumbing and MEP drawings, reading architectural plans, performing simulations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of materials and software.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design
• Minimum 2-year degree in related field
• Bachelor's degree or professional certifications preferred
• NICET I/II/III Water Based System Layouts preferred
• At least 3 years using CAD software
• Minimum 3 years in a professional environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to think in three dimensions

Responsabilidades

• Follow OSHA standards and laws.
• Attend regular development meetings.
• Incorporate feedback into 3D model designs.
• Make revisions to models as requested.
• Run simulations and stress-tests on 3D models before prototyping.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Provide accurate electrical schematics per client conditions.
• Analyze hydraulic calculations to ensure adequate water delivery in fire events.
