Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to create layout drawings for fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. The role requires strong knowledge of NFPA codes, hydraulics, and CAD software, and collaboration with project managers and engineers to meet safety and client requirements.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of fire sprinkler design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and related CAD tools, and NICET

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; engineering/drafting coursework preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design.
• Experience with CAD software: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, AutoSPRINK and BIM 360.
• NICET certification (Level II or higher) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Apply codes and standards to design fire sprinkler systems for various settings.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings; develop layout and master drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and contractors to ensure code compliance.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and prepare material lists; assist with proposals.
• Ensure designs comply with NFPA and local building codes.
